Beta information

Player Guide · Passive Power System

SPIDER ARTIFACTS

An Artifact is a special accessory that grants one passive stat while equipped. Every power Tier follows the same five-step Collector path: Damage, Defense, Attack Speed, XP and finally Maximum HP.

Three separate systems: Tier sets the power curve. Artifact Level sets the passive stat. Item +Level sets the active value bracket.

5Artifact levels×5Power tiers=25Artifact forms

Artifact Level 1DamageMore final damage dealt

Artifact Level 2DefenseMore total defense

Artifact Level 3Attack SpeedFaster attacks and casting

Artifact Level 4ExperienceMore experience gained

Artifact Level 5Maximum HPMore maximum life

01 · Combination Collector NPC

CREATE AND EVOLVE YOUR ARTIFACT

The Collector creates Level 1 and evolves two matching Artifacts into the next passive-stat Level. Your Tier never changes.

Artifact Level is not item +Level

Level 1–5 changes the Artifact's stat at the Collector. +0–+15 is normal item enhancement and only changes that stat's value bracket.

Create Level 1Build the Damage Artifact

02 · Item enhancement brackets

HOW +LEVEL CHANGES THE BONUS

Separately from Collector evolution, enhance an Artifact like a normal item in the Chaos Machine. Its displayed bonus moves through four value brackets.

Value bracket1+0 to +8Base bracket

Value bracket2+9 to +12Awakened bracket

Value bracket3+13 to +14Ascended bracket

Example: a Tier 1, Artifact Level 5 Maximum HP item enhanced to +9 uses Value Bracket 2 from the Maximum HP table.
